COME AUDITION

HITS was formed as a Theater on Ice competition team in 2003. Theatre on Ice has quickly grown in popularity and is a way of combining figure skating with theatre and dance. There are many competition categories to match a range of skills and ages for skaters who want to be involved. 

 Auditions for 2025 will be held in the Fall of 2024 at Memorial City Ice Rink, October 28, 2024.

Skaters will meet 30 minutes before going on the ice to sign in and there will be past HITS team members to ask any questions. When on the ice drills and group improvisations will be done so each skater can show their individual and team skills.

Please wear black top/jacket and leggings. 

It is very important that you are familiar with the USFS membership requirements to compete in USFS sanctioned events. This membership can be obtained via your home figure skating club or individually. Please visit USFS website for more information.

It is also advised to have tested or be training with a coach to obtain the introductory level: Pre-preliminary Moves in the Field, this is a mandatory test to compete in most Theatre on Ice categories.
